This watch pays homage to the SKX399 – a popular model from the original Seiko 5 Sports SKX series, first introduced in the 1990s. This modern blue dial model inherits the layout of the original piece, taking the same richly textured indices and hands, but with updated finishing on the knurling of the bezel and a glossy glass bezel insert for increased sparkle. Powered by the in-house built 4R36 automatic movement, this watch is accurate to +45 / -35 seconds per day, with a 40-hour power reserve. Seiko 5 Sports is known for over fifty years of reliability, durability, performance and value. ‘’5’’ represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet.
